What to Expect: Your First Class
You arrive a little nervous. You leave feeling like you can take over the world. Here's what happens in between.
Arrive Early
Plan to show up 15 to 20 minutes before class. You'll get a quick studio tour, meet your coach, and get set up at your bag. No guessing, no awkward wandering.
Get Your Hands Wrapped
Your coach or a team member will show you how to wrap your hands. It's your first technique lesson before class even begins and it protects you while you work.
Warm Up
5 to 10 minutes of movement to wake up your body. By the end, you'll be loose, warm, and locked in.
The Class
60 minutes of coached kickboxing combinations on the heavy bag. Real punches, real kicks, real sweat. Your coach cues every round and you just have to keep up.

Everything you need to know before your first class.
No experience needed at all. KickHouse coaches start every new member from zero. Your first class covers the basics: stance, footwork, and the foundational punches and kicks. If you can show up, we'll take care of the rest.
No. KickHouse is non contact fitness. All work is done on a heavy bag and you control your intensity, your pace, and your effort. No partner drills, no sparring.
Most members burn between 400 and 600 calories in a single 60 minute session, depending on intensity and effort. The harder you push, the more you get out of it.
Athletic clothes you can move in, water, and a towel. Hand wraps are recommended and available at the studio. Gloves are provided. Show up ready to sweat and we'll handle the rest.
